Learning From My Gambling Blunders
1st to explain the reason I wrote this essay. I have been wagering on the internet or at a brick and mortar casinos for many years. I have learned, the addiction can take a hold of you and you will not even realize it up until you are broke. Particularly if you are on a winning run. I have gone through many thousands of dollars in a very short amount of time and still on occasion, I’ll go a bit too far. It seems you’re just having a blast until you decide to be aware of your defeats and the anguish sets in, and then you keep telling yourself "I can get it back" constantly. It doesn’t works. Then you become queasy in your belly and the more you try the quicker you lose.
When you see that you’re ahead, STAY on the UP! When you start to be beaten, do not tell yourself, "well just maybe just one more" and again and again, trust me, this method RARELY ever operates. Say you are betting on slot games, have a bankroll put aside before starting your action. DO NOT go over that boundary, no matter how captivating. If you happen to win, put that in a different pot. Do not risk your wins no matter what. As soon as you’ve played through your primary set limit, bail out. Leave, regardless if it is on the web or at a land based betting house, do not stay around. Always keep in mind, there is going to be another day, another time.
Always remember, gambling should be FUN not backbreaking, nauseating work! If you are not enjoying yourself, you do not belong there. If youcan not manage the cost, don’t even start.
